Kensington Market street photography is a must if you enjoy walking and are a Street Photographer. Kensington is a an open bohemian neighbourhood in central west Toronto and has much to offer. With many artists, and tourists, it has independent shops that you might not find anywhere else in the GTA. Not as artsy as the Queen West area, but it is filled with students from the nearby University of Toronto campus. It is an enjoyable, friendly walk about for anyone with a camera.

Kensington Market and Street Photography

Kensington Market and street photography go hand in hand. Many young families with children live in the older Victorian style homes. This is a long established neighbourhood with high energy that makes Kensington a street photographer’s delight. I myself, will get back here in the spring. Ill make sure to take advantage of the bright colours and eclectic storefronts that offer photography opportunity galore..

Meeting Dozer

While walking along I met Dozer, and I must admit, I  have a love of Bulldogs. Quickly dropping to a knee I rattled off a shot of him. I didn’t even have time to set focus as he is super friendly. Dozer rushed me and was on me in a split second. H literally blew through the preset zone focusing plan I had in mind. But the image was still usable, thanks you Lecia Q2! His owner was a great guy who got him to sit and even pose for me! I have to say meeting Dozer was the highlight of my time shooting photography in Kensington Market today!
