Coffee Shops are people magnets and wherever people are the opportunities for street photography also exist. One of the real benefits of shooting in or outside of a coffee shop is people are coming and going all the time. The diverse nature of the customers and their individual reasons for being there offer very different looks and stories to capture.
Some people are there to contemplate life alone and in deep thought, others to just while some time away. It’s up to you and your camera to pick the most interesting subjects to tell the story of daily life that transpires in every coffee shop in your city each day.
I often sit in a coffee shop with my camera resting on my table awaiting the right street photography moment to arrive.
